The MokkiLato Movement
The MokkiLato Movement aims to cultivate every Filipino’s palette to fully appreciate the taste and quality of real artisan gelato. Good gelato doesn’t have to be overly expensive. In Italy, you can find really good, affordable gelato on almost every street corner. Unhappy with the overall quality of gelato here in the Philippines, the founders of MokkiLato felt it was their duty to do something about it and so started the MokkiLato Movement for some much needed “gelato lovin’.”
The MokkiLato crew consists of a small group of gelato afficionados who want to spread the appreciation for the tasty treat to everyone. We put a lot of heart into making our gelato. Not only do we strive for quality, but for creativity and innovation as well. To make sure our gelato meets the highest of standards, we have a gelato chef flown in from Italy every three months to help us innovate and improve. We also have some of our staff travel to Italy once a year to visit different gelaterias to keep up with the trends. We are constantly trying to come up with new flavors and designs to satisfy not only your cravings but to also please your eyes!
MokkiLato is a small company dedicated to creating delicious frozen treats. We have no intentions to franchise. We just want to show people how good gelato can really be. If you're a restaurant or cafe who wants to add gelato to their menu, we would love to work with you! If you're interested in making your own gelato or want to start your own gelato business, we can get you in touch with the people who have the resources to help you get started.
At MokkiLato, our goal is to put a big tasty tub of gelato in every home and every restaurant.
At MokkiLato, we don’t have a set list of flavors. That’s because we’re constantly trying to come up with different flavors—currently at 50 and still counting!
At MokkiLato, what we create is artisan gelato—that means we don’t make gelato just for the sake of making gelato, we do our best to make it special every time.
Have any ideas or suggestions? We would love to hear from you.
